Kite races 2015 season

Can someone direct me to a list of kite racing events for 2015. I'm new to the world of kite racing but would like to try it out. I would be entering events that would take beginners. Thanks

almost any race takes beginners.

Thank you for the reply. I checked out the link and it looks like windfest at nitnhat is the only one on the island. I was hoping there would be others because that is where I live. Worst case I have to ride the ferry and come to Squamish! The beer league races sounds like a great way to get your feet wet. I'll keep checking back to see when they are posted.
