i wondered what happened to all the positive and interesting and friendly people that used to post on skypilot?figures ,i leave for a few weeks to nitinaht boonies, and the world changes for the better, all the best on your new site chris.more about kiteboarding and less about bs and politics, cheers doug sage.
Thanks for setting this up Chris and/or whomever else also had a hand. The direction of this forum is what I loved about the Vancouver kiting community when I was first introduced to the sport. Glad I found it...
Thanks for providing an alternative. Hopefully this forum will allow open discussion and opinions regardless of brand or shop affiliation. At the end of the session it really doesn't matter what you ride or where you bought it, as long as there is cold beer and a good "Stoke"!! I fear it was the lack of "Stoke" on other forums that lead to this one being created. I look forward to seeing this forum grow.
Hey Guys, I just wanted to swing by and share your stoke. I was likely (to my knowledge anyways) one of the first fatalities of the selective membership of SPK. I'm glad to have a forum that will welcome me... even though I live in Alberta, and (GASP) own a kiteshop! I am and always will be a kiter first and foremost and love reading your coast stories and watching what you can do with thermal winds! Besides, someone is going to have to teach you all to snowkite at some point. I'm coming out for Windfest on the Island and will hopefully meet some of you and see some of you again out there.
