If anyone is looking for a kitesurf vacation between December 1st - April 22nd, the Panama Kite House is open during this time. Great for kiting or foiling, our Kitehouse is located right on the kitebeach and we offer a all-inclusive type holiday including breakfast, lunch and dinner so you don´t have to worry about anything during your stay.
We also arrange a range of kitesurfing trips, downwinders, sand bars, surfing trips etc. for less windy days.
This year we decided to visit Panama for kiteboarding instead of La Ventana. We stayed at https://www.panamakitehouse.com. It's great place, right on a beach, food was good. Unfortunately there are were few days with no wind or light wind, for me only 1 day without foiling. On those days we did surf and canyon trip and hike to the mountain. When the wind came it was very strong 25-35kn, with huge and nice swell. I think it was the biggest swell I ever foiled. When it's windy, it blows day and night non stop. I usually had 2 sessions early morning from 7am till noon then in afternoon from 3pm till sunset. Evening sessions have stronger wind. I used my smallest kite 2.5m most of the time. Walking at low tide similar to Locarno. Wetsuit is not needed even in the early mornings, but we all got burned. It's much hotter than La Ventana. At night no jacket needed. At high tide possible that there will be no beach and you will need to launch at machete kite.
