Do you want to learn to kitesurf? Great, here's a few tips to get you started:
1. Choose a reliable kiteschool - IKO certifide instructors are always a good sign
2. Find the right destination - as a beginner, you'll spend a lot of time scrambling in the water so you want to learn somewhere warm, shallow and flat
3. Make sure it's the right season - you don't want to just sit around doing the wind dance, check the stats for the chosen location to see when the windy season is
4. Commit at least 3-5 days to it - the more the better. You need time to practice a new skill before you really master it.
At Kitesurfing Lanka we've got it all. The winter season (December - March) just started and the conditions are ideal! Check availability and book in advance as some dates are already full.
If you like to plan well ahead, we're also already accepting bookings for the summer season (May - Oct).
