Has anyone ever travelled with two golf bags rather than 1 and another luggage piece. I have been using a Wilson one for 15 years. Just got a new LF one and am travelling with twin tip and foil this season. Wondering if they hassle for having 2? Seems easier than picking up bags at two different locations upon arrival.
Hi Mike. I traveled last year with a Dakine split bag. Foil and Board in one bag along with a bar and three kites. The other bag had my twin tip in it with my cloths. Worked great.
Hi Mike. I regularly travel with my foil, foilboard and a directional board all in one golf bag along with two kites. Then everything else fits in a duffel bag. Easy.. just be sure each bag is under 50 lb. I also take one kite as a carry on. I can't imagine why you'd want two golf bags. Of course you need to remove your fins and footstraps for packing.
I cut foam pipe insulation to fit all around the edges of my boards, and sheets of foam to protect everything.
I have never packed my bar in my carry on bag because I have heard stories about the airport inspectors confiscating it as a weapon. Not always but....

I was kiting in Boracay (Philippines)2017, on my return flight from Manila, my control bar I had in my carry-on was discovered at the security gate and had to be added to my check-in golf bag.
The airlines(PAL) fine print stated that rope or cordage is not allowed in your carry-on. The good thing is that they didn't re-weight the check in bag. (main reason for not being checked in)
