RVYC wind sensor at Jericho is working again

Postby cglazier » Mon Oct 03, 2016 2:28 pm

After 4 months of inactivity the wind sensor at RVYC is working again. This is located at the north end of the dock at Royal Van Yacht Club and gives the best reading of wind in the Jericho Beach area.

If you forget this URL you can always find it under the 'Weather' link at the top of this page.

Big thanks to Don Campbell for his efforts to get this working again.

For 3rd Ave launch..
A waterfront house has been located and kiteboarder Jon Newman (a volunteer) is in charge of reinstalling the sensor equipment.
